Staff and Board Members The Board of Directors of IHA meet bimonthly as a group, and with committees on alternate months to oversee the financials and the operation of Intercommunity Housing Association. The current members represent many of the founding congregations of IHA, along with businesses and organizations in the community.
The staff of Intercommunity Housing Association is comprised of one full time and three part time staff, and many volunteers for the committees, programs, facilities, and fundraising events. Terry Hunn, MSW, LCSW Terry Hunn is the present Executive Director of Intercommunity Housing Association. He coordinates the two apartment complexes: Pillar Place Apartments and Compton Place Apartments. He handles tenant relations, screenings, lease renewals and does crisis management. He coordinates all programs for both sites, provides adult education, and heads the tenant leadership team. He coordinates the staff of IHA and facilitates the long range planning. He acts as a liaison to the management company and to other collaborative agencies. He has a bachelor's degree from Loyola University in New Orleans, and a master's degree in social work from Washington University in St. Louis. He is a member of the Missouri Association of Social Welfare, National Association of Social Workers, Carondelet Betterment Social Service Board, and the Gate Community Neighborhood Association. He is a board member of the collaboration of The Women of the well. Alice Lancaster Mrs. Lancaster is Development Director for Intercommunity Housing Association and has held this position since August 1, 2002. Prior to coming to IHA, Mrs. Lancaster managed several medical practices, worked in an international manufacturing executive office, and for a pharmaceutical management company. She is the Coordinator for the collaboration of The Women of the Well. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Communication Service Public Relations Council of St. Louis, and a member of the St. Louis Planned Giving Council. She has volunteered extensively for over 30 years in her parish in North County and has held many volunteer positions for not-for-profit organizations. She currently serves on the Board of Adjustment for City of Hazelwood, The St. Louis Parents Advisory Committee for Autism, the Missouri State Autism Committee. She is also a member of the Development Board for the Franciscan Sisters of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. She recently received the 2005 Zealot Award from the Monsanto Family YMCA for her service to women and children. Mrs. Lancaster's duties include all fundraising, public relations, grant writing, and marketing of Intercommunity Housing Association. She coordinates the development volunteers and activities to promote IHA in the community. Donna Moramarco Mrs. Moramarco joined as Program Director in July 2006 for Intercommunity Housing Association. She recently joined the staff at IHA in July of 2006. Donna has extensive experience in children’s programs and child care. Prior to joining the staff at IHA, Donna has held various positions with the YMCA of Greater St. Louis. These include Program Coordinator for School Age Child Care, Site Director for School Age Child Care, Staff Trainer, and Summer Camp Activity Coordinator. Other work experience includes Assistant Director at Love N Learn Child Care Center and a TA for St. Raphael and Annunciation Schools. She has volunteered extensively in a variety of areas at her present parish and previous parish for over 27 years. She has also volunteered her time at IHA and various other not-for-profit organizations through the years. Donna’s responsibilities include after school programming for the children, summer camp, womens’ day out program, spring and fall workshops for the women, activities for holidays, and organizing volunteers for programs. Vincella Lake, SSND has joined the staff of IHA as Assistant Coordinator of Client Services as of June 2008. Sister Vincella Lake is a native of St. Louis, Mo, the only child of Marie Bresnahann and Harry Vincent Lake. She graduated from Blessed Sacrament Grade School, Rosati-Kain High School, and Notre Dame College with a BA in History and a minor in Sociology. She received her MA in History from Lincoln University. In 1960 she entered the School Sisters of Notre Dame, became Sister Vincella in 1961, took first vows in 1962,and final vows in1967. She was a classroom teacher for 44 years teaching primary though high school, college, and adult education. In addition to teaching, she was involved in giving and directing retreats, workshops, and specialized skills classes, was the manager of a high school football team, and was the DJ of her own radio Jazz show( Sister V 's Jazz Flight). Sr. Vincella’s duties include conducting initial and ongoing interviews with all tenants regarding tenant services. She will be assisting our families with setting long term and short term goals, and monitoring their progress achieving their goals. She loves working with people, animals, music, art, and is currently in the middle of writing a novel. Sr. Vincella believes in education as a liberating force for good. |
